Hourly rate price is per hour
The hourly rate is set for those needing a more flexible approach to their childcare needs and is subject to ratio spaces and availability but will be accommodated for where possible and clarified in your childcare contract, this includes wrap around before and after school care for the local village school.
£5.50 per hour
Half day care (5 hour block day session)
Half day care offers flexible options for busy parents, providing quality care for children between the hours of 7:30am-12:30pm or 1:00pm-6:00pm
£25.00 per session
Full day care rate (10 hour block day session)
Full day care offers working parents the convenience and peace of mind of extended care for their children from early morning until evening. (7:30am-5:30pm) OR (8:00am- 6:00pm) this will be specified upon discussion of your care needs.
£48.00 per session
Weekly rate (50 hour block session per week)
The weekly block session option is also available for those needing full times child care places the weekly session options are (7:30-5:30pm Monday to Friday) OR (8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday.)

Government funding consumables rate.
Government funded places are available at a subsidised rate to cover consumables this is because the government funding is just that funding meaning the costs of the childcare are not fully funded or covered the consumable fees are charged at the rate of £5.00 per day which works out at £1.00 per hour these fees cover additional outings, ratio staff, trips, resources, crafts, snacks and meals. Funded places are available in five or ten hour blocks per day.

Bank Holidays and Unsociable Hours
Bank holidays and unsociable hours will be charged at the unsociable hourly rate of £7.00 per hour (Meal and snack fees will as always be included in your hourly rate meaning no additional charges). The unsociable hourly rate will be applied per hour for all bank holidays regardless of what package plan you are on, this unsociable cost is only per hour for bank holidays and unsociable hours before 7:30am and after 6:00pm Monday to Friday. If your child is not booked in for bank holidays then their will be no charged fee for bank holidays but they will not be able to attend without a minimum of 24 hours' notice this is to ensure we can surplus to legal ratios and a space will only be allocated if we are able to do so in this event the above fees will apply.

Registration fee
The registration fee is a none-refundable deposit at the time of registering your child within the Ohana childcare setting. This fee amount varies family to family depending upon your contracted sessions but is charged at the rate of up to four weeks of your standard bill plus your £30.00 registration fee. This fee will secure a place for your child within the provision and works as an admin processing fee. All standard Childcare payments are taken via Direct Debit, ensuring ease for all parties involved.

Late payment fees
A none negotiable fee of £20.00 per week will be charged for late payment fees. (regardless of how many sessions in the week your contracted to) will be added for each outstanding invoice for a maximum of 4 weeks. Ohana Childcare runs on a no pay no play basis following the above late payment fee procedures.

Taster and settling in sessions
Ohana Childcare offers three hours of taster sessions free of charge split over 2-3 sessions flexible to your requirements within sociable hours and within reason. The taster sessions can be two 1.5 hour sessions or three 1 hour sessions to help with transition and the settling in period for both the child and yourself, the agreed times and days of taster sessions are subject to requirement depending on ratios, and availability at the requested times/days. Additional Taster sessions can be pre booked with notice at the usual hourly rate of £5.50 per hour per child should you feel additional taster sessions are required.

Early drop off and Late pick-up fee
No child is to be left before or after their designated session start or finish times unless previously arranged as this compromise's adult: child ratios. There is an additional £5.00 fee added for every 15 minutes you are late to collect your child. Late collections will be monitored but the childminder is also aware of emergency and unforeseen circumstances. Should the parent/carers be aware they are going to be late to collect their child, they should communicate and contact the child minder as soon as possible so the childminder can prepare and plan for staff to endure to this, giving notice on the day of late collection will not waiver the late collection fees but will allow us sufficient time to plan for this and put things in place such as keeping the child calm and reassured and any other precautions we may need to take within this occurrence.

Light meals and Snacks
Snacks and meals, including breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks, are essential for providing the body with necessary nutrients and energy throughout the day. All our snacks and light meals are provided and inclusive. Any dietary, allergies requirements or beliefs should be shared with the childminder and be written on the "child record form" completed at registration to ensure the childminder is made fully aware and can meet the requirements sufficiently, parents and main carers have a duty to update the childcare setting of any dietary requirement changes through regular communication and the childminder has a duty to ensure they are asking at regular intervals about any dietary requirement changes.

Planned Trips and outings.
From time to time the childminder may plan an educational trip. Most trip expenses will be fully covered by Ohana childcare making the trip FREE however some trips take more organisation and cost more in fees. In the event of a pre-planned trip been arranged you will be given prior notice along with all trip details. Some trips might require a fee or spending money Ohana childcare asks that all money is placed in a named sealed coin purse or envelope trip detail letters and information will state the amount allowed per child and no additional costing trip will be booked without prior consent and without four weeks' notice. Should trip timings run out of the child's usual session time any additional time the child is in the care of the minder will not be charged for.
If your child usually
has a setting meal, then a setting packed lunch will be provided for the
trip or the Ohana Childcare staff will pay for a meal out trip depending. Any leftover spends will be returned home with the child in
a sealed envelope or coin purse.
